Big windows make for nice lighting and great people-watching. Great food for good prices! Fast and very friendly service. We split the sushi special between two of us and liked it a lot and were very full. They also have good beers.

This is a small sushi joint with both a sushi and Korean menu. We watched a few locals come in for takeout and dine-in, and the server (owner?) recognized them all. It struck me as the locals' spot. The sushi menu is extensive! It was a bit different than what I'm used to on the west coast, but it was tasty. The pieces were cut half and thin as I'm used to, but there were more of them, and they were easier to eat. We noticed the place could use some updating and cleaning, but when you're cooking Korean food, oil just happens. Other than that, good value, nice staff, and great choices.

This restaurant serves both Japanese and Korean food, but my sense is that it is run by Koreans, and Korean food is what we wanted. The server seemed pleased that we ordered Korean dishes and wanted them very spicy. We got our wish, and we enjoyed the food greatly. The service was prompt and attentive. If we are ever in Ithaca again, we will definitely go back to this establishment.

This is the best restaurant in town. Amazing food and service! The staff is so nice and helpful. It's busy and crowded - a sure sign of the high quality and amazing flavors. You just can't go wrong with anything. Sushi, jijgae, udon, bento, japchae- all are delicious!

OMG this is our new favorite Asian restaurant! We came here after going to Cornell Botanical Gardens, I ordered the avocado salad, eel and avocado roll, and fried sweet potato roll because they were so cheap compared to what I am used to. Everything was excellent. So we ordered their version of General's Chicken which is light years above and beyond any that I have had in the past (I don't even like chicken that much) the sauce is this amazing spicy fruity can't get enough and the chicken great with a light and crispy breading. We ended up Ithaca for hiking a few days later and got the yakisobi which is so smokey and yum. Plus hand made noodles. Their brown rice is also killer. I think they must not have any bad dishes and I can't wait to find another excuse to come here.

I visited this place during my vacation to Watkins Glen and let me tell you, this is some of the BEST Korean food I have ever had. I had the Kimchi Chicken Bokum; it was PACKED with flavor and the portion was huge.... just the right amount of spice!!! My boyfriend had the Jjam Bong which is basically like a seafood soup. He loved it. It wasn't spicy, but there was a lot of flavor and the seafood was fresh. We only got one sushi roll, but they have so many to choose from. If you're big on sushi this is the place for you. The service was very quick and attentive. I think the only issue with this place is that it is pretty small inside, only about 6-7 tables. So if you come during a peek time expect a wait. We went around 7pm on a Sunday and did not have a wait, but by the time we left there were 2 groups in line.

One of my most fave restaurants in Ithaca and my favourite place to eat in the Ithaca Commons. I never know what I want to order from here, I only know I will never be disappointed and I've tried a LOT of their dishes. I've taken dates here, my mom, my friends, myself, it's one of my go-tos and my fave place to sit is one of the two spots right next to the window. The service is also excellent.

This place lives up to its simple name but with a number of variety available. While not specializing in one cuisine, I found that to be a great quality because I'm personally someone who likes the variety. I'm impressed with how they balance it and manage a busy crowd. You know it's a good spot when there's people eagerly waiting outside in the cool fall weather waiting to get in here. The staff did a good job of getting people in within 15-30 min on a Friday night. Admittedly we even added a person to our party last minute and they were able to help us out and get us in. There's truly something for everyone. Between two super sushi lovers and a few non fish eaters, everyone got something they wanted. I was in a sushi mood and was happy I didn't need to break the bank for four rolls (yes this is how many I usually get). My husband got the jjangmyan special and was very satisfied with the green tea noodles consistency in particular. He even convinced the others at the table to order it. I was surprised at how big the special rolls were. The Aurora roll was huge and at a deal too. I really enjoyed the New York Roll which is simple having salmon and tuna but the nice add of apple brought it together. The Ithaca roll satisfied my craving to have one deep fried roll. Spicy tuna ultimately ended up delicious. I will mention we had a small misunderstanding regarding my allergy. Because the rolls I got didn't mention there was scallion on top, I was a little disappointed at first when some of the rolls came topped with scallion. I was able to pick it off (cross contamination isn't a problem for my allergy). But the staff took notice and immediately helped update the remaining rolls on the way to ensure no scallions. They even re made the spicy tuna roll to make sure there was no scallions (my husband happily ate the one with scallions that came out). Greatly appreciated their attention and action on the matter. We were only visiting Ithaca for the weekend for a wedding but was very glad and we enjoyed the place. Until next time!
